You should really probably open a ticket for this, as it will take a lot
of debugging of fwm to find out what's going on. However, you should at
least first check the CPU and memory utilization on the server when you
first connect. You might also try connecting from a different client. If
a different client shows better performance, try removing the CPMICache
directory on the problem client and see if that helps. But 400 objects
and 9 firewalls is nothing. I've seen smartcenters with over 10,000
objects and a hundred firewalls.
