RE: [fw1-gurus] Nokia Cluster with NGX and Cpu/Cluster Problem

Check messages files, do you see something like this?

241): Table kbufs - Invalid handle 20688801 (bad entry)
:May 30 00:19:17 fwolt01 [LOG_CRIT] kernel: FW-1: fwtcpstr_init_stream:
got bad kbuf: 20688801

I have customers who get hit by something that causes the cpu to go
through the roof. Looks like a bug in the handling of streaming by
"smart" defense.
This causes similar problems to what you describe.

 | Subject: [fw1-gurus] Nokia Cluster with NGX and Cpu/Cluster Problem
 |
 | Hi
 |
 | We have a nokia ipso cluster (forwarding mode) with NGX.
 |
 | First of all 2 nodes cannot share the load
 | equally.%75-master %25-member mostly and doesn't matter
 | which node is master.
 |
 | For the real problem the master cpu sometimes hit %90-95
 | with no anormal activity.
 | And also cluster nodes switches master-to-member and
 | member-to-master at random times???
 |
 | In the same time with "ps aux" we see the cpu lower than
 | (for ex:)%10 but in gui we see (for ex:)%70-90 and also in
 | the smartview monitor (for ex:)%70-90.
 | I mean they are very different.
 |
 | Can anyone suggest anything ?
 |
 | and suggestions/commands/programs for debug the nokias
 |
 | Thanks
 |
