[fw1-gurus] ODBC->Oracle slow over VPN between two Checkpoint FW

Hello,

we have a VPN between two Hospitals, both with Checkpoint Firewall.
We have a access applications that writes data over the VPN to a ORacle 
. The insert of 2500 takes 5 minutes.
Using a sql loader tht does not use odbc the load finisches after 5 
seconds !

Does anyone have a idea why the VPN or the firewall slow down the insert 
that much ?
